The title refers to the idea of parallax: a shift in perspective that invites us to see differently, to look at the body in another way. Inspired by John Berger and his critical reading of the female nude in the Renaissance, conceived almost exclusively for male visual pleasure, the series seeks to displace that gaze in order to grant the figures new depth and presence.
